Frequently Asked Questions

  1. What are the policies on visiting and phone use? Visits and phone privileges are permitted after a client has been in treatment for 30 days. Visiting days are Sundays 1-4:30 p.m. and pay phones are available for use between program activities and groups.
  2. May I bring doctor prescribed medications? Yes. Only current physician prescribed medications in the original prescription bottle, in clients own name, with sufficient supply (or refills) for the length of stay in treatment.
  3. What should the family do if there is an emergency at home? Family may contact counseling staff 24 hours a day, any day of the week.
  4. I have legal concerns I'd like to discuss. Feel free to speak to any staff member and they will direct you to the appropriate person for help.
  5. Is smoking permitted? Yes, in designated areas.
  6. Do you offer family services? Yes. All family members are encouraged to work closely with our staff during treatment process.
  7. How much does laundry cost? $1.50 for washing and drying one load. Please bring quarters if possible.
  8. Do I need any money? You may arrange for $20.00 to $40.00 maximum weekly. We have soda machines and a canteen where you may purchase a variety of drinks and snacks.
  9. Should I bring my personal vehicle? In most circumstances, no. Please speak to a staff member if you believe your circumsances warrent.
  10. What things are prohibited?

    • Cell Phones, Pagers
    • Computers, laptops, PDAs
    • Hair clippers/trimmers
    • Aftershaves, Cologne, Perfume
